Cape Town is gearing up for a world-class sporting spectacle as the Beach Pro Tour makes its highly anticipated debut on the white sands of Camps Bay Beach from 22 to 26 October 2025. For the first time ever, South Africa will host the world’s elite beach volleyball players against the breathtaking backdrop of Table Mountain and the Atlantic Ocean.
The event will see 96 athletes from 48 countries compete in fast-paced matches on one of the most picturesque stops on the global tour. Camps Bay is set to be transformed into a buzzing beach arena, blending top-tier international competition with vibrant beach culture, music, food stalls, and family-friendly entertainment.
The Beach Pro Tour, organised by Volleyball World and the Fédération Internationale de Volleyball (FIVB), is one of the sport’s most prestigious circuits—second only to the World Championships and the Olympic Games.

Volleyball enjoys a massive global following of 480 million, making this a powerful moment to showcase Cape Town’s natural beauty, cultural energy, and hospitality on the international stage.
