Cape Town musicians and singers with a passion for the timeless music of The Beatles have an exciting opportunity to take centre stage as Delton Productions Company prepares to launch a new Beatles Tribute Show later this year.
The production company is inviting male singers and musicians aged between 18 and 80 to audition on Sunday, 16 August 2026, from 10:00 to 13:00 at The Waterfront Theatre School, situated on the corner of Port Road and Alfred Street at the V&A Waterfront. The auditions are open to both experienced performers and undiscovered talent, offering aspiring artists the chance to become part of a professional theatre production.
The Beatles Tribute Show is scheduled to open at a Cape Town theatre in September before potentially embarking on a South African tour. Delton Productions also plans to take the production to theatres in the Middle East between October and December 2026, creating an international opportunity for successful performers.
The company is looking to fill a variety of performance roles, including lead singers, backing vocalists, rhythm and lead guitarists, bass players, drummers, and keyboard or piano players. Singers should prepare two Beatles songs for their audition and should also be ready to perform an additional Beatles track with a backing track supplied by the production team. Those planning to audition using their own backing tracks are asked to bring them on a USB drive or make them available via Bluetooth.
