Creative energy takes over Observatory on Saturday, 29 November 2025, when Streetopia returns for its annual celebration of street art, performance, and community.
Founded by members of AfrikaBurn, Streetopia transforms the suburb’s main streets into a free, family-friendly open-air gallery. Expect live art installations, music stages, dance performances, and pop-up exhibitions by local artists.
The spirit of the event lies in community participation — everyone is invited to dress up, create art, or simply enjoy the spectacle. The Village Green hosts workshops, children’s play areas, and craft markets, while Lower Main Road bursts with colour and creativity.
