Comedian takes exciting new show on a seven-city South African tour
South African-born entertainer Kevin Fraser is bringing his infectious energy, razor-sharp humour, and cultural storytelling back home this summer with his brand-new show, Heart of the World. Set against the backdrop of a seven-city nationwide tour, the show celebrates the rhythm, resilience, and humour that make Africa unlike anywhere else on Earth.
Fraser’s comedic journey takes audiences beyond the punchlines, exploring what truly gives Africa its “heartbeat.” From Pretoria to Cape Town, Knysna to Durban, he blends stand-up, dance and theatrical flair in a way only he can — part comedian, part cultural interpreter, and part “Poitjie Pot Genie.”
This year, Fraser teams up with Siki Jo-An, celebrated singer and finalist on The Voice SA, to introduce a musical collaboration that promises to add a fresh and uplifting layer to his already dynamic performance style. “I can’t wait for people to hear the song we’ve created together,” he says.
A seasoned performer, Fraser started his career at just 16 as a DJ in Durban before making waves internationally through viral comedy videos that captured the quirks of South African life. His previous tours — including Africa is a Feeling and The Minister of Entertainment — have sold out globally, earning him critical acclaim from the UK to Australia.
The Heart of the World tour kicks off on 28 November 2025 in Pretoria and travels through Nelspruit, Johannesburg, Knysna, Gqeberha, Durban, and Cape Town, where tickets are already selling fast. Expect a night of belly laughs, spontaneous dancing, and shared cultural moments that remind us why, in Africa, we laugh not because life is easy, but because life is ours.
