Ferrari has unveiled the striking new Ferrari Amalfi Spider, a front-engined open-top grand tourer that blends the brand’s celebrated performance DNA with the romance of open-air driving. Designed by the Ferrari Design Studio under the direction of Flavio Manzoni, the Amalfi Spider captures the spirit of the Italian coastline that inspires its name, combining fluid design, cutting-edge technology and exhilarating performance.
Visually, the Amalfi Spider presents a sleek and sculptural silhouette, maintaining elegant proportions whether the soft top is raised or lowered. The fabric roof, engineered to preserve the car’s refined lines, can open in just 13.5 seconds even while driving at speeds of up to 60 km/h. Ferrari also introduces a distinctive new colour for the model, Rosso Tramonto, an evocative shade inspired by the warm tones of sunset along the Amalfi Coast.
Inside, the car adopts a dual-cockpit architecture that creates a sense of connection between driver and passenger while still delivering a focused driving environment. The cabin features a clean, minimalist layout with premium materials and advanced digital interfaces. Three displays form the core of the driver–vehicle interface: a 15.6-inch digital instrument cluster, a central 10.25-inch infotainment screen and an 8.8-inch passenger display, allowing occupants to interact with the car’s performance and multimedia systems in real time.
At the heart of the Amalfi Spider is a 3.9-litre twin-turbo V8 engine from Ferrari’s award-winning F154 family. Producing 640 horsepower and paired with an eight-speed dual-clutch transmission, the powertrain delivers thrilling performance with a 0–100 km/h sprint of just 3.3 seconds and a top speed of 320 km/h. Advanced turbo management, lightweight internal components and refined engine calibration contribute to sharper throttle response and improved efficiency.
Aerodynamics play a critical role in the car’s performance. A rear active wing automatically adjusts between three configurations to balance drag and downforce depending on driving conditions. In its highest downforce setting, the wing can generate up to 110 kilograms of additional load at high speed, enhancing stability and driver confidence.
Ferrari has also equipped the Amalfi Spider with an advanced suite of dynamic technologies, including brake-by-wire, the latest Side Slip Control system and multiple Manettino drive modes that allow drivers to tailor the car’s behaviour to road conditions or driving style.
Balancing high performance with everyday usability, the Amalfi Spider offers practical features such as a luggage capacity of 255 litres with the roof closed and 172 litres with it open, making it suitable for both weekend escapes and grand touring journeys.
With its combination of dramatic design, open-air driving appeal and cutting-edge engineering, the Ferrari Amalfi Spider continues Ferrari’s tradition of building sports cars that are as emotionally engaging as they are technically advanced.
