The heart of the Cape Flats comes alive at the DStv KykNET Mitchells Plain Festival, held at Westridge Gardens from 28 to 30 November 2025. Known as one of Cape Town’s biggest community festivals, it attracts thousands of residents for a weekend of entertainment, food, and family fun.
The 2025 edition will feature top local musicians, community theatre, gospel showcases, and youth talent competitions. There’s a vibrant market with crafts and food stalls representing Cape Town’s diverse culinary heritage. Families can enjoy amusement rides and interactive zones, while businesses from the area showcase their products and services.
