Cape Town Disabled Open – King David Mowbray Golf Club

The Cape Town Disabled Open returns to King David Mowbray Golf Club this November, continuing its mission to highlight inclusion and excellence in adaptive sport. Taking place from 16 to 18 November 2025, the event brings together talented golfers with disabilities from across South Africa and beyond.

Organised by the South African Disabled Golf Association (SADGA), the tournament showcases the power of sport to overcome barriers. Participants compete across multiple divisions — including Gross, Stableford, and Net — on one of the most accessible and well-maintained courses in the Western Cape.

The event is about more than scores and trophies; it’s about camaraderie, determination, and breaking perceptions of disability. The Cape Town Disabled Open also provides a platform for young golfers with disabilities to learn from seasoned athletes and experience the joy of competitive sport in a supportive environment.

SADGA has long been at the forefront of promoting inclusive golf in South Africa, working closely with partners to provide access to equipment, training, and development pathways for all athletes.
